In 2011, I asked God for direction and purpose and through a string of circumstances, I was introduced to this magnificent art. Since then, I have been
recognized as Best Actor by QC Nerve’s
2020 Best in the Nest and received Best
Supporting Actor at the 2019 Metrolina Theatre Association Awards.
Along with a list of short film and live
theatrical projects, my works include stage
performances in Lombardi; Our Town;
Legend at the Crossroads; A Raisin in the Sun; A Christmas Carol;
King Liz; and the award-winning productions, Boys to Baghdad,
Jitney, and Two Trains Running. I thank Marilyn Carter
for introducing me to the “Art of the Messy” and Lon Bumgarner
for enhancing my foundation. I graciously acknowledge and thank my phenomenal wife Nakia and magnificent
daughters Ki’Asia and Jada for allowing me to perform and express myself artistically. Acting is life!
